He is a prominent contemporary painter from Tijuana and the Region, with a transcendent career that includes painting, muralism, sculpture, conferences, cultural promotion and teaching. With more than 40 years of experience as a professor at the Autonomous University of Baja California, he founded the Taller de Artes Plásticas and the Escuela de Artes, leaving a significant legacy in culture and artistic education.

The October Festival in Rosarito offers a rich variety of artistic expressions. From experimental music concerts to puppet theater, dance performances and theatrical performances, the festival promises an unparalleled cultural experience. Pieces that explore themes such as identity, migration and diversity stand out, such as “Frontera de Algodón” and “Chipitín sin cola”. Music also plays a leading role, with concerts that fuse the traditional and the contemporary, such as “Imaginarium” and Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. In addition, the festival presents innovative proposals such as “El Cholo”, a show that satirizes fame on social networks, and “Ventura”, a pirate story with a deep message. The October Festival in Rosarito is a celebration of the arts that invites reflection, enjoyment and connection with the community.
