:: WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL ::

Since the 1930`s, Rosarito Beach has been a favorite tourist destination. Due to the prohibition days in the United States, the stablishment of The Rosarito Beach Hotel and Rene´s Bar in the mid 1920´s, Rosarito Beach began recieving thousands of tourists ever since, rapidly gaining fame for its casino and good fishing.

Located just 25 miles from the US/Mexican Border, Rosarito Beach is a very convenient nearby home getaway. An extensive sandy beach, incredible sunsets, exquisite cuisine and an extraordinary climate, makes this city, a great destination... all year long! Here you´ll find all sorts of activities. Ride the sand dunes in an ATV, go horseback or bike riddding, or better yet... have a soothing massage in one of its spas. Las but not least, end your day with a romantic sunset walk in the beach. All this and more... in Rosarito Beach.

The Rosarito walking tour is a suggested route that runs through the most interesting touristic sites (that you hardly appreciate from your vehicle) that the city of Rosarito has to offer. You´ll be able to walk the entire route in approximately 2 hours, or better yet, take your time and make it an all day tour.

The Baja California State Tourism Secretariat has an office on the south end of the Benito Juarez Blvd., in Rosarito, where you will be able to get a hold of tourist assistance and information. Open monday through friday from 8:00 to 20:00 Hrs, Saturdays and Sundays 8:00 to 13:00 Hrs. The Rosarito Convention & Visitors Bureau also has an information office where they can assist you. See site No.10.
