Both of the concerts in Rosarito caused great excitement where Cuba Gooding delighted to the audience with classic songs and part of his new repertoire.  The song receiving most that night was his great hit “Everybody Plays the Fool.”  “I am very pleased to be here tonight with all you in Rosarito, presenting part of my new repertoire,” commented Cuba to the audience. 

In an exclusive interview, Cuba declared that Rosarito enchants him and that aside from being a safe place, to visit is very beautiful.

“ I am coming with a new movie and lot of it is going to be filmed here in Mexico”.

“The media tells you only the negative, I am here to tell you the positive: The people is so friendly here. If you want to have a good time come to Mexico to have a vacation, come to Mexico, Mexico is the place”. Said Cuba Gooding.

Laura Wong, president of the Tourism And Conventions Bureau declared that this type of event is very good advertising, because it can be demonstrated that Americans can come to Rosarito and enjoy events of quality with no problem.

Raul Aragon, Delegate of the secretariat of Tourism of the State of Baja California, commented that Baja California has been and always will be one of preferred places to visit for Southern Californians. 

Representatives of Municipal and State government invited him to receive the keys of the city in a ceremony which will be carried out at a future date to due to agenda questions of the singer.

Cesar Rivera, general manager of Las Rocas Resort & Spa, said that the hall reserved for the concert registered a sell-out; Cuba shared the performance with the great Ed Jones.

 “95% in attendance were Americans.  I am very pleasurably surprised with the reaction of people at the invitation, since we sent it out with barely a few days of notice.  People responded very well; the overflow was such we even had to put more chairs because people continued arriving” concluded Sr. Rivera.
